Job Description

A recruiter, or corporate recruiter, is responsible for finding, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for open positions at a company. They are generally responsible for the entire recruiting process, which includes:

Sourcing: Identifying and attracting candidates
Screening: Reviewing resumes and other information
Interviewing: Conducting initial interviews and coordinating the interview process
Negotiating: Negotiating salaries and benefits with candidates, and working with employers to ensure a good fit for both parties
Onboarding: Facilitating offers and employment negotiations, and ensuring candidates have a good experience
Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
