The Telecaller is responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers to promote products and services, answer inquiries, handle complaints, and provide information on new offers. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle rejections gracefully, and a persuasive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:Outbound Calling:
- Make a specified number of calls daily to potential customers as provided by the company.
- Follow a prepared script to introduce products and services to prospects.
- Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through conversation.
- Update and manage customer databases with new customer information and status updates.
Customer Service:
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide necessary information.
- Resolve issues or escalate them to the relevant department as necessary.
Sales and Promotion:
- Promote and sell products or services to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide detailed information about products, services, and offers.
- Follow up on initial contacts and maintain ongoing communication with potential customers.
Reporting:
- Maintain records of calls and sales and note useful information.
- Prepare and submit performance reports.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Qualifications:- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
