Testing: Collect and test water and sewage samples for chemical and bacterial content. Analyze the results and adjust equipment as needed.
Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on equipment, tanks, and filter beds.
Reporting: Maintain logs, reports, and statistics.
Emergency response: Respond to emergencies and public inquiries about water quality.
Training: Provide training and instruction to lower-level operators.
Chemical handling: Measure, mix, and transport chemicals to maintain feed stocks. Add chemicals like chlorine or ammonia to disinfect water.
Equipment operation: Start and stop pumps, engines, and generators to control the flow of sewage.
Security: Perform security checks of the plant and grounds.
