Job Title: Sales Executive - Furniture Shop

Reports To: Store Manager/ Sales Manager
Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our furniture store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting furniture, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Customer Assistance and Sales:
Greet customers warmly and ascertain their furniture needs.
Guide customers through the selection process, offering suggestions and recommendations.
Provide detailed information about product features, specifications, and benefits.
2.Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of the store’s furniture offerings and new arrivals.
Stay informed about trends in interior design and furniture styles to better assist customers.
Attend training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
3.Sales Targets and Performance:
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and individual performance metrics.
Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue from each customer interaction.
4.Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
5.Showroom Maintenance:
Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Assist in setting up displays and arranging furniture to create an attractive shopping environment.
6.Sales Documentation:
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s point-of-sale system.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory.
7.Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with other sales team members and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving store goals.
Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or Interior Design is a plus.
2.Proven experience as a sales executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in the furniture or retail industry.
3.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4.Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
5.Ability to understand and present product features and benefits effectively.
6.Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
7.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Experience in the furniture or home décor industry.
Knowledge of current interior design trends and styles.
Familiarity with inventory management and CRM software.
