Job Description

Roles:
  • Customer Support:

    • Assisting customers with inquiries about IT hardware and networking products.
    • Providing information about product specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Sales Support:

    • Supporting the sales team in managing leads and customer accounts.
    • Preparing sales quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Order Processing:

    • Processing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery.
    • Coordinating with logistics and inventory teams to manage stock levels.
  • Technical Assistance:

    • Offering basic technical support and troubleshooting for IT hardware and networking products.
    • Liaising with technical teams for advanced support.
  • Market Research:

    • Conducting market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
    • Analyzing competitor activities and products.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Handling sales documentation and maintaining accurate records.
    • Managing correspondence and communications with clients.
    Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction:

    • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Sales Documentation:

    • Preparing and processing sales orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
    • Ensuring all sales documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Product Knowledge:

    • Keeping up-to-date with the latest IT hardware and networking products.
    • Understanding the features and benefits of the products to effectively assist customers.
  • Sales Support:

    • Assisting the sales team in tracking sales leads and opportunities.
    • Helping to prepare sales reports and performance analysis.
  • Inventory Management:

    • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the inventory team to replenish stock.
    • Ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Follow-Up:

    • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases.
    • Addressing any post-sales issues or concerns.
  • Sales Targets:

    • Assisting the sales team in achieving sales targets and goals.
    • Participating in sales meetings and providing input on sales strategies.
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Educational Background: Typically requires a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Technical knowledge or certifications in IT hardware and networking are a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT hardware and networking products. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
    • Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide solutions.
    • Sales Skills: Understanding of sales processes and techniques to support the sales team effectively.
