Safety Hardware Engineer
Education: -
Bachelor or Masters in Engineering
Role Expectations:-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working experience in ISO 26262 - Part 5
Drive the development of functional safety system requirements and technical safety requirements toward hardware design solutions
Define methods and practice the construction of hardware architectural metrics for hardware designs.
Work closely with internal teams to support FMEDA reviews and define technical hardware solutions to decrease the risk of safety failures
Deep knowledge of automotive systems and hardware development process and the V-Model system development, verification, and validation framework
Experience with safety programs from concept through certification/regulatory process
Experience with functional safety tools (e.g. Medini, APIS IQ) and requirements management tools (e.g. Jama)
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
