Position: Legal Manager

### Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Advisory:
- Provide strategic legal advice on real estate transactions, including land acquisitions, development agreements, lease agreements, and property sale deeds.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including RERA regulations, land acquisition laws, and real estate statutes.
- Review and draft legal documents such as contracts, MOUs, and agreements to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Litigation Management:
- Represent the company in consumer court disputes related to property sales, delivery timelines, and customer grievances.
- Handle all matters related to RERA cases, including registration issues, project delays, and compliance.
- Liaise with external law firms, if required, to manage litigation cases efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with RERA guidelines and other real estate-related laws.
- Keep the company updated on any legal changes affecting the real estate sector and provide guidance on regulatory risk management.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure full legal compliance across the organization.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Mediate and negotiate with clients to resolve disputes out of court when possible, aiming for amicable settlements.
- Lead internal investigations and audits related to legal matters and prepare reports for the senior management team.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with the sales, finance, and project teams to ensure alignment on legal requirements and company policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for legal inquiries related to real estate projects, consumer grievances, and regulatory bodies.
### Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on RERA and consumer court cases.
- Proven track record in handling litigation, particularly related to property disputes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks like RERA and consumer protection laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
