As a Data Modeller - C2, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data models that support business requirements and enhance data management. Your expertise in Erwin Data Modeling will be essential in delivering high-quality data solutions that drive decision-making and business success.

• Data Modeling:

  • Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeling tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  • Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
  • Perform data analysis and profiling to support data modeling activities and ensure data quality.

• Data Governance:

  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain metadata repositories, data dictionaries, and other documentation related to data models.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of data models to ensure they remain aligned with business needs and technological advancements.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with development teams to integrate data models into application and reporting systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior data modelers and other team members on data modeling best practices and standards.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data modeling and data management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in data modeling and data management practices.
  • Ensure timely completion of data modeling projects and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in data modeling and data management.
• Strong proficiency in Erwin Data Modeling tools.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.

• Experience with other data modeling tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data management platforms and services.
• Certification in data modeling or data management (e.g., CDMP, CBIP).
