Position Overview:
The Coordinator of Import and Export is responsible for managing and facilitating the import and export processes of goods and services for Anant Express Logistics. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations, coordinates logistics activities and liaises with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods across borders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import & Export Management:
- Oversee and manage the import and export processes from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Prepare and review documentation required for customs clearance and compliance, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations and trade laws.
- Stay updated on changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
- Organize and track shipments, including booking transportation, negotiating rates, and resolving any transportation-related issues.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure alignment with supply chain demands.
- Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all import and export transactions, including customs documentation and shipping manifests.
- Prepare reports on import/export activities, costs, and performance metrics for internal review.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for import and export-related inquiries and communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and finance, to address and resolve any issues related to shipments.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to import/export processes.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Customs Broker License) are a plus.
Work Environment:
- This role is based in DLF CORPORATE GREENS. Occasional travel may be required to meet with suppliers, and customers, or attend industry events.
