Position: Associate - Business Development
Location: Gurgaon and Pune
No. of Vacancies: 4 (2 in Gurgaon and 2 in Pune)
Employment Type: Internship for 3months, post confirmation Full-time employment
Stipend during 3 months of Internship: INR15000 per month
CTC for full time employment post confirmation: INR 3.5 to 4.5 Lac Annually *1 year bond applicable.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry publications. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Client Outreach: Reach out to prospective clients via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings to introduce our services and establish relationships. Effectively communicate our value proposition and tailor our offerings to meet the specific needs of each client.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the operations team to develop customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Present proposals in a clear and compelling manner, highlighting the unique benefits of partnering with Ascender Marketing.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure new business. Utilize persuasive selling techniques and overcome objections to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the event planning process.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus but not required.
- Passion for the event industry and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Comfortable to travel and open to stretch over weekend or late night work when needed
