Key Responsibilities:
TDS Management:Compute and record TDS for various payments.
Prepare and file TDS returns on a timely basis.
Ensure compliance with TDS regulations and maintain accurate records.
Respond to queries related to TDS and coordinate with tax authorities as required.
GST Management:Maintain GST-related records and documentation.
Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GST laws.
Reconcile GST input and output tax credits.
Assist in resolving any GST-related issues or discrepancies.
General Accounting:Assist in day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Documentation and Compliance:Ensure proper documentation and filing for all TDS and GST-related transactions.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
Reporting:Prepare periodic reports on TDS and GST for internal stakeholders.
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
