The Accounts Head will oversee all financial activities of the stock brokerage firm, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial insights. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, brokerage operations, and regulatory frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including those specific to the stock brokerage industry.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a stock brokerage or financial services firm.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles applicable to the brokerage industry.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
