Job Description:

As an Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of associates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the fulfillment center, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including operational oversight, staff management, inventory control, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:  Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

Monitor and manage performance metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

Staff Supervision and Development:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Inventory Control:

Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
Optimize storage space and layout for maximum efficiency.

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Address any safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

Customer Service:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Resolve any customer issues related to order fulfillment and shipping.
Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and defects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a high-volume fulfillment center.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
