Job Description

Hands on experience in wedding video editing .
Minimum experience required 1 year
Knowledge of Adobe Premium Pro
The senior video editor is responsible for assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer. They follow the script and screenplay/outline. They add sound effects that enhance what's being shown on-screen through music selections plus voice-over; these additions help bring everything together into one smooth cutscene ready upload.
Editing: Managing the technical aspects of video editing, including using editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
Storytelling: Creating narrative arcs and using a variety of editing techniques to enhance the story
Project management: Understanding the project brief and working closely with the director or producer to ensure the project is completed on time
Mentoring: Supervising and mentoring junior editors and other post-production staff
Staying current: Keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in documentary filmmaking and editing
Portfolio: Having a portfolio of relevant documentary editing work
Attention to detail: Being dedicated to quality and paying attention to detail
