Job description
Mental health counselor advise and are responsible for diagnosing, providing support to help clients with cognitive, behavioral, and emotional disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
Provide counseling sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups
Help clients develop coping strategies and skills to overcome challenges
Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health counseling
Provide educational resources and workshops on mental health topics
