An Academic Counsellor will be responsible for generating revenue for the organization. The role
requires a combination of hunting skills and a strategic bent of mind. The incumbent will be from
B2C, B2B Sales background. It will be helpful to have someone with experience handling EdTech
sales. Market mapping is a part and parcel of this role and hence it is important to focus on the
basics of the role.
Responsibilities:
Assess students' academic strengths, weaknesses, and interests to determine their educational goals
Provide guidance and support to students in developing realistic academic plans
Help students explore and understand available educational programs and career opportunities
Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and extracurricular activities
Monitor students' academic progress and provide intervention when necessary
Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic success
Provide support and guidance to students facing challenges in their academic journey
Stay up to date with educational trends and resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students
