Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working with Gin (a web framework for Golang),JWT, and custom middleware for authentication
2. Creating various models with Gorm (Golang ORM) and performing CRUD operations on these models through different API routes
3. Implementing social sign-in functionality using the appropriate Golang libraries
4. Implementing authorization using JWT in Golang
5. Implementing real-time component rendering using Gorilla WebSocket or similar libraries in Golang
6. Collaborating with the team to manage and optimize the backend application written in Golang
