We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our Import/Export Documentation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data related to import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

• Data Entry: Accurately input and update data related to import/export documentation, including customs declarations, shipping documents, invoices, and other related paperwork.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and organize physical and electronic records of import/export documents, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Compliance: Ensure that all data entries comply with relevant international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Verification and Validation: Verify the accuracy of information provided by clients and other departments, cross-checking data to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, such as customs brokers, logistics coordinators, and customer service, to resolve discrepancies and provide timely updates on the status of shipments.
• Reporting: Generate and maintain reports related to import/export activities, providing insights and updates to management and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to streamline data entry processes and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of documentation handling.
