Job Description

Designation - Web Development Engineer

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

. Experience with object-oriented design

. 2+ years of professional non-internship experience with front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent industry experience.

. Minimum of 2 years industry experience as a software development engineer, web development engineer, front end engineer or similar

. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities

. Experience building web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks

. Actively practicing professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life-cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

. Experience building scalable front-end software.

. Demonstrated leadership in an engineering environment in driving best practices

. Able to deal with ambiguity. Strive for clarity in requirements and problem space to mitigate UI risks upfront .

. Make the appropriate trade-offs to balance innovative UX with implementation complexity.

. Evaluate the risks and benefits of using front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets for a given problem space.
