Job Description

Video editor transform raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished videos used to inform, engage, and inspire their audience. They use specialized software applications and editing tools to merge content from multiple sources and add pictures, graphics, visual effects, voice, sound effects, and music.

Video editor's services include the review and refinement of video and special effects for motion pictures, television, or online video.

Video editor ensures continuity between shots, creates pacing through cuts and creates meaning by juxtaposing images. Video Editor will use digital editing applications such as Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to add and remove elements of a video file, add sound, speed up or slow down footage, and add digital effects.
