Job Description

Metrol Media is seeking a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging and impactful video content that resonates with our target audience. 
Responsibilities: 
-Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals and creative vision 
-Edit and assemble video footage based on storyboards, scripts, and brand guidelines 
-Apply expert editing techniques to ensure smooth transitions, pacing, and flow 
-Enhance videos with captivating visuals, including sound effects, music, and graphics 
-Ensure adherence to brand voice and visual style across all video content 
-Stay informed about the latest video editing trends and software advancements 

Qualifications: 
-Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Video Editor in Motion Graphics and Animation. 
-Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) 
-Proven ability to edit various video formats, including social media videos, shorts, reels, and documentaries 
-Strong understanding of storytelling principles and the ability to translate them into video 
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams 
-A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work 
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
