The Site Engineer will oversee the construction activities at the site of residential projects. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the project.

• Site Management:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site activities.
  • Ensure that construction work adheres to the planned schedule and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a daily log of all site activities and report to the Project Manager.

• Quality Control:

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work is up to standard.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies found in the construction process.
  • Conduct tests on materials and systems as required.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the design team to understand the project requirements.
  • Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with building regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on progress, challenges, and updates.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their work is aligned with the overall project plan.

• Budget and Resources:

  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
  • Monitor the use of materials, labor, and equipment to avoid wastage and inefficiencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
  • Manage the ordering and delivery of materials and ensure they meet project requirements.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including daily reports, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
  • Prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and filed in accordance with company standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 1+ years) in residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction.
