Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Communication skills: Maintain effective verbal and written communication is crucial for dealing with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, and explaining travel plans, policies, and procedures clearly
2. Customer service: Put strong focus on providing excellent customer service, and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and patience
3. Attention to detail: Handle travel arrangements and ensure all details are accurate, checking and confirming reservations, itineraries, and other travel-related information
4. Organizational skills: Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, and keep track of bookings, schedules, and other important details
5. Knowledge of the travel industry: Keep a basic understanding of travel products, services, and industry trends and familiarity with popular destinations, airlines, hotels, and other travel-related information
6. Problem-solving: Think on your feet to find solutions to unexpected issues, and handle changes to travel plans or resolve issues during a trip
7. Computer skills: Be proficient in using travel booking systems and software
8. Sales skills: Be understanding of sales principles and techniques, and upsell or recommend additional services when appropriate
9. Cultural awareness: Be sensitive to different cultures and customs, and keep knowledge of visa requirements, travel advisories, and other international travel considerations
10. Research skills: Research destinations, accommodations, and travel trends, and stay informed about changes in the travel industry
