We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality Software Engineering documentation that contributes to the overall success of our Proposal responses. You will join a team of talented tech writers who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, senior managers, and usability experts to make our services more accessible. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing self-starter who can analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and identify the keys to a successful and winning proposal. This individual will coordinate the overall presentation (including graphics),content (technical content to be contributed by others),and business aspects of proposals for various software engineering disciplines such as Platform, Application, Data Analytics, and Automation. We are looking for an organized individual to be able to meet critical deadlines, engage others as required, and produce quality winning proposals. This role requires someone who is flexible to meet the full range of administrative and proposal support requirements, including document preparation and other administrative duties as needed. As a key member of the Solution Engineering team, the individual will be expected to work professionally with Conseqta’s Leadership Team and its Teaming Partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine technical proposal storylines.

• Respond to technical proposal sections and clearly articulate the business value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Research and write material as needed, including gathering information about the Programs/Projects.

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the performance work statement and the RFP/RFI requirements.

• Responsible for various tasks related to producing material for proposals, white papers, and other Business Development-related material, including assisting in developing and editing PowerPoint graphics.

• Collaborate with the team to articulate strengths, win themes, key differentiators, and the business value proposition clearly and concisely.

• Produce high-quality Solution response that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

• Create, review, and edit material to ensure compliant, compelling, and accurate text is prepared for final submission.

• Ensure high-quality content for proposals and other corporate materials such as white papers.

• Harmonize proposal writing across the volume to ensure one voice in presenting proposal content.

• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

• Create and maintain the information architecture.

• Participate in each opportunity response's quality, compliance, and completeness, including participation in color reviews and refining content based on feedback from review teams and other stakeholders.

• Ensure written responses are concise and clear.

• Adhere to schedules and deadlines established by the proposal manager.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation is a plus.

• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation, paying attention to detail.

• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.

• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.

• University Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
