Technical Design Architect
Job Responsibilities:
Own all the architecture and design documentation for the customer and maintain up-to-date during the entire lifecycle of the service contract
Responsible for all post-sales architecture and design activities during the entire lifecycle of the service contract
In charge of the correct engineering of the technical solutions deployed for the customer
In charge of day-to-day operations issues impacting customers' business
Identify solutions when major incidents impacting the customer's business occur
Ensure coherence among the different customer service blocks (data, security, voice, video, data center, cloud, etc. ).
Analyze the impact of all operational and technical decisions keeping in mind the best interest of the customer and of Orange Business Services (maintenance, evolution, costs, etc.)
Accountable for complex technical change management validation and providing technical support for major & complex changes
Assess the feasibility of the technical solution from the operational perspective in close cooperation with the pre-sales consultants during the pre-sales phase
Contribute to technical proposals in the pre-sales phase (LoE, feasibility)
Accountable to ensure that the technical solutions proposed are implementable and operable
Contributes to the effort of knowledge management (methodology documentation, knowledge sharing through presentations, training, mentoring)
Qualifications & Work Experience:
Should have either Azure Architect /GCP Architect certification and ITIL certification
CCIE/CCNP or equivalent certification
Experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure, data center, cloud support operation
Strong analytical experience in solving technical issues, isolation of application/network performance issues
Experience in design, building, and managing data center and cloud solutions.
Experience in Cloud migration
Experience in cloud security and compliance
Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps principles
Experience working with some or all technologies below: Azure / GCP
Azure Automation / DevOps / Multi-Cloud Management
Terraform / Aviatrix
AD/DNS/DHCP/ADFS/PKI
Cloud Firewall, Application Gateway, NSG, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS
Cloud NAT, VNAT, VNAT peering
Docker containers, Kubernetes
Skill Set:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent in creating service review and management reports
Good analytical skills and ability to identify trends
Ability to lead customer-facing communication
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work cross-functionally with the application, network, security, and workplace teams
Ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books and knowledgebase
Knowledge of IT service management standards
Knowledge of information security standards and compliance
Understanding and experience in working within an ITIL framework operational environment
