As a Senior Workday Delivery Lead & Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Biogen's Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
You will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting primarily Workday HCM, Absence and Compensation modules along with ability to provide subject matter expertise for Time Tracking, Payroll, Performance - Talent, Recruiting & Onboarding to meet the evolving needs of Biogen.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Workday team & collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure the effective use of the Workday implementation.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst, with a focus on HCM and Advanced Compensation modules
- Configure and customize Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation modules based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation functionality, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Serve as a Lead Analyst for supoprting, internal Workday team in - Workday Absence, Time tracking, Performance, Talent & Payroll, Benefits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize business processes within & around the Workday system.
- Experience in interfacing Workday with third-party systems for Recruiting, Benefits & Payroll processes
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, document functional specifications, and translate business requirements into system configurations.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training and user support materials as needed.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Conduct/supoprt testing and validation of system changes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
- Exposure to delivery framework/methodologies such as SAFe & SDLC. Familiar with ITIL framework for change & incident management for system deliveries.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation modules, including business process configuration, security setup, and report development.
- Experience with Workday integrations, data conversion, and system testing.
- Experience of at least 2+ Workday implementations leading & configuring modules
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experienced in documenting system configurations and customizations via appropriate artifacts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
