Financial Planning and Budgeting: Responsible for developing and overseeing the school's financial plans and budgets. This includes forecasting revenues and expenses, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring that financial goals are met.
Financial Reporting: They oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements to provide accurate and timely information to CFO, board members, and other stakeholders. These reports may include balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial analyses.
Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that may impact the school's financial health. This may involve analyzing revenue streams, expenditure patterns, and cost-saving measures.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks faced by the school. This includes implementing internal controls, monitoring compliance with financial regulations, and assessing the financial impact of potential risks.
Financial Policies and Procedures: Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices. This may include procurement policies, expense reimbursement procedures, and financial reporting guidelines.
