Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Identifying and Evaluating Suppliers: Research and evaluate potential providers or suppliers, examining current providers and determining areas for improvement. 
• Developing Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies. 
• Negotiating Contracts: Negotiate price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. 
• Ensuring Compliance: Work with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation. 
• Analyzing Costs and Risks: Analyze and calculate costs of procurement, suggest methods to decrease expenditure, and assess risks and opportunities. 
• Building Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. 
• Optimizing Sourcing Processes: Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency. 
• Staying Updated: Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.

• Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and secure favorable deals.
