Your Role and Responsibilities
Site Reliability Engineering professionals have a mix of knowledge and skills in software, programming, data structures, algorithms and systems, operating software on internal and external infrastructure at scale,
Responsible to analyze business needs, advise & design, build, testing, deploying, changing, and maintenance of a well-engineered information system.
Its mission is to progress, protect and provide a flawless experience of services for users - internal or external.
SREs focus on Automation, Reliability, Performance, and Security of services.
SREs are often responsible to lead a formed squad of experts to recover impacted client operations and business.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
'Professional knowledge of Cloud solutions Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud (some of them).
Architectural knowledge of Virtualised environments using Red Hat Technologies.
Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs, and policies.
Communication/Negotiation - Guide other professionals, and adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.
Professional certification from more Technologies & Platforms e. g. Cloud architecture, Automation, Red Hat technologies - Ansible, Resiliency, DevOps, Cloud virtualized recovery, Network, Design capacity for solutions, Healthchecks for IT systems
Ability to cope with stress factors while leading recovery work-streams
Apply best practices across technologies to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems
Understanding of security, regulatory standards
Adaptability and flexibility in a living ecosystem
Accountability to meet commitments and business standards of a client despite working overtime'
