#### Job Summary: The Site Engineer will oversee construction projects for an infrastructure building company, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing on-site activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
#### Key Responsibilities:
1. *Project Management:*
- Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and site diaries.
2. *Quality Control:*
- Ensure all construction work complies with design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to avoid project delays.
3. *Resource Management:*
- Manage materials, equipment, and labor to optimize productivity.
- Coordinate deliveries and logistics to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, minimizing wastage and controlling costs.
4. *Safety Compliance:*
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
5. *Technical Support:*
- Provide technical advice and support to construction teams.
- Interpret and explain construction plans and specifications to workers.
- Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
6. *Stakeholder Coordination:*
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Address any concerns or queries from stakeholders promptly.
- Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
#### Qualifications:
- *Education:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- *Experience:* - 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- *Skills:*
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
#### Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Primarily site-based work.
- May require working extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands of the construction site.
#### Compensation:
- Salary: ₹2.5 to ₹5 lakhs per annum.
