Role Overview:
The Showroom Sales Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and promoting luxury home interior products in a showroom setting. As the face of the brand, the executive will interact with high-end clients, providing personalized product recommendations, and assisting with purchases. The role demands an understanding of luxury interiors, product features, and design trends to effectively engage with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through the showroom with a warm, professional, and personalized approach.
- Understand customer preferences and requirements to offer tailored product recommendations.
- Educate clients on product features, materials, craftsmanship, and design options.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Upsell and cross-sell luxury home interior products based on client needs and preferences.
- Assist clients in making informed decisions about furniture, décor, and interior solutions.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the purchasing process.
2. Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in luxury interiors, product lines, and home décor.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, including the unique features and benefits of luxury items such as furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand new product arrivals and design innovations.
3. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional post-sales service, including product delivery coordination, resolving client queries, and handling complaints promptly.
- Ensure all client requests, including custom orders, are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Follow up with clients after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
4. Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain an immaculate showroom appearance by organizing displays and ensuring products are presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure the showroom layout aligns with current promotions, trends, and collections.
5. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and stock levels.
- Process sales orders and transactions using the POS system.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock availability and timely deliveries.
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional manner.
6. Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the showroom team to achieve collective sales goals and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for sales strategies and showroom improvements.
7. Brand Representation:
- Represent the luxury brand with a polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
- Promote the brand's values and vision to clients, ensuring that each interaction reflects the company’s reputation for quality and exclusivity.
- Attend product launches, events, or exhibitions to stay informed on industry trends and showcase the brand.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a luxury retail or high-end home interior environment.
- Prior experience in interior design or furniture sales is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of high-end interior products and design principles.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong selling skills with the ability to build relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
- Passion for luxury home décor and interiors.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, CRM software, and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Interior Design, Sales, or related fields is a plus.
