About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in conducting keyword research to identify strategic opportunities for content optimization and creation
2. Collaborate with content creators to ensure on-page optimization best practices are followed, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure
3. Support the development and execution of link-building strategies to improve the website's authority and backlink profile
4. Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
5. Assist in conducting competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the search landscape
6. Contribute to the identification of technical SEO issues on the website and collaborate with the development team to implement solutions
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing
8. Assist in creating and updating regular reports to track the progress of SEO efforts and their impact on organic search performance
Qualifications:
1. Previous Experience in SEO will be an added advantage
2. A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
3. Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page optimization, link building, and keyword research
4. Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools
