We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive the sales of investment instruments with life insurance policies as underlying products. As a Sales Manager at The Policy Exchange, you will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and achieving our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote and sell investment instruments namely pre-owned policies.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide coaching and guidance to enhance their performance.
Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients, including individuals and institutions, to expand the customer base.
Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized advice and support to meet their investment needs.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, investment instruments, and regulatory changes. Educate the sales team and clients about the features and benefits of our products.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitive threats, and industry trends.
Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in selling investment instruments such as mutual funds and insurance.
A graduate degree in any discipline (required) + An MBA with a specialization in Finance or Marketing (preferred).
Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership qualities and experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach to sales.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
