Job Description
One of the primary sales executive skills is to be able to build long-term relationships with prospective clients to form a beneficial network for both parties. Relationship-building skills help a sales executive to meet clients, gather referrals to achieve team objectives.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets
Follow up on leads and convert them into sales
Collaborate with the marketing team to support sales initiatives
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Attend industry events and tradeshows to network and promote company products
Stay updated on the latest industry developments and competitor products
