Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential safety hazards
Provide safety training and education to employees and managers
Investigate safety incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions
Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement safety improvements
Stay updated with industry trends and changes in safety regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.)
Experience conducting risk assessments and inspections
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
