Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and test ROS-based software solutions for robotic systems
2. Assist in the integration and implementation of ROS modules with various hardware components, sensors, and actuators
3. Contribute to the development of algorithms and software modules for perception, planning, and control in robotic applications
4. Conduct research and experiments to optimize the performance and efficiency of ROS-based systems
5. Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and documentation to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
6. Work on staying updated with the latest advancements in ROS and related technologies, and propose innovative ideas for improvement
7. Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution
8. Participate actively in team meetings, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Skills & Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field
2. Strong programming skills in languages such as C++ and Python
3. Familiarity with robot operating systems; and their core concepts
4. Knowledge of robotic systems, including perception, planning, and control
5. Experience with ROS packages, tools, and libraries, such as ROS Navigation Stack, Gazebo, and MoveIt
