Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting extensive secondary research, connecting with prospects on LinkedIn, and maintaining daily reporting routines with the Associate VP (AVP). The role requires excellent online research skills, database exploration, and effective communication over multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Data Collection: Achieve daily research targets using online sources, databases, and social platforms to gather information and insights on key prospects.
Prospect Reviews: Analyze and review LinkedIn profiles, company pages, and other relevant details to identify potential leads.
Daily Check-ins: Attend a daily 10 AM check-in meeting with the AVP and provide progress updates during a 6-6:30 PM review session every evening.
Data Management: Accurately input research findings into Google Sheets and maintain an organized record of all data points.
Outreach: Engage with prospects using self-owned devices and coordinate communication as required.
Candidate Criteria:
Academic Background: Must be a 1st-year graduate student from NMIMS or a similar prestigious institution.
Technical Requirements:
Must own a personal laptop.
Minimum 100 Mbps stable WiFi connection.
Google Sheets Expertise: Proven experience as a Google Sheets Power User. Ability to create complex data sets, use formulas, and handle large-scale data entries.
Research Mindset: Strong analytical skills for secondary research and data sourcing, ensuring high accuracy and thoroughness in findings.
Communication Skills: Ability to make calls using a self-owned number to connect with prospects or contacts when necessary.
Availability for In-person Meetings: Must be available to meet the AVP once a week in person in Mumbai.
Social Media Presence: Active and up-to-date profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook are required.
Recruitment Process:
Step 1: Apply via the job board to schedule a 15-minute video call through Calendly.
Step 2: Complete a typing test on typingtest (best of 3) with a minimum requirement of 60 WPM.
Step 3: Final interview with the Associate VP (your direct reporting manager).
Step 4: Offer signing and NDA completion.
