Job Description

Inspect and measure parts and components at various stages of production.

• Read and interpret machining drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Use and handle measuring instruments and gauges accurately.

• Ensure products meet quality standard

Conducts visual and dimensional tests to ensure quality of finished products

Determines and uses appropriate inspection processes to confirm assigned products and parts meet specification / drawing requirements

Confirms and approves quality of finished machined/overlaid components

Records the Machining inspection results in dimension reports

Prepares paperwork and reports documenting the inspection findings

Performs other related duties as assigned

Ability to read Engineering Part Drawings

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft word / excel / power point to prepare reports
