Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and prepare testing strategies.
2. Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, load & stress testing as part of release cycles.
3. Conduct automation testing for the web using Selenium or for mobile using Appium.
4. Understand and represent customer needs in sprint planning phases.
5. Document issues, errors, and bugs in a project management tool.
6. Participate in release management and post-deployment testing.
7. Work closely with the development team to ensure proper test coverage is done.
8. Drive a particular project independently for testing.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
2. Understanding Selenium/Appium with Python would be an added advantage.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
4. Understanding of APIs to determine the distribution between backend and frontend issues.
5. Knowledge of performance testing.
6. Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
7. Working knowledge of a project management tool preferably JIRA.
8. Working knowledge of programming preferably Python.
9. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
10. Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
11. Experience with LambdaTest will be an added advantage.
