Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities and Tasks:-

Reviewing, comparing, evaluating and approving raw materials and services.

Overseeing procurement administration, such as the recording of purchases, storage, distribution transactions and contract execution.

Estimate and establish budgets for purchases

Monitoring and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

Analyzing the market, stock levels, new technology, suppliers and internal business data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

Preparing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels and to meet quality and budget requirements.

Skill Requirements:-

Excellent knowledge of computer applications

Adaptable, flexible, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing demands

A good team player with strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and the ability to independently and effectively under pressure and on strict deadlines.
