Procurement Associate recruitment in Pune - For a client of TeamLease Services Ltd

Responsibilities for procurement associate-

• Solicits and analyzes quotations
• Review commodity specifications, prepare solicitation documents, evaluate proposals, select suppliers, create contractual documents (purchase orders, subcontracts, ),carry out inspections of deliveries, and arrange for shipping and related logistics
• Maintain the integrity and transparency of all department records and files
• Conducts supplier contract negotiations to ensure compliance, and optimizes costs with a balanced view of surety of supply and growth
• Negotiate purchases and quotes from suppliers for all products and services used by MSKCC departments
• Assist Buyers and Senior Buyers with fact finding, sourcing, expediting, and problem solving
• Collect and analyze data to assist with the preparation of business review, reports or bid analysis
• At least 1year of work experience in an office setting
• Knowledge of Facilities environments a plus
• Manages five to six low level locally scoped commodities for the Central Region

Qualifications for procurement associate

• Ability to quickly assess situations and plan resolution
• Proficient knowledge of full suite of Microsoft Office software
• Ability to quickly come up to speed on all technical and commercial subjects related to solar projects through the full development life-cycle and transition to construction and operations
• Ability to quickly understand the basics of a variety of subjects relating to renewable energy including civil and electrical engineering designs and detailed drawings along with transmission issues, taxes, finance, and energy sales
• Ability to multitask and work well on a team
• Ability to proactively identify next steps and work productively with limited supervision
