Job Description

Power BI Developer

Knowledge and experience in Power BI, Power Query and DAX is must
Knowledge of one Database and SQL Scripting is must
Azure Analysis Services (AAS)/SSAS Tabular is a must
Strong Hands-on experience in DAX Query
Strong in Data Modelling concepts
Worked with Data procurement strategies - DB, Cached/import mode (applications, features and drawbacks)
Configure/integrate security both at Power BI tool and DB level respectively
Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes) and storytelling abilities
Knowledge of Cloud technologies - Azure Synapse is preferred
Experience setting up data connections, mobility, writing functions and using advanced features like ESRI, NLP, scripting, R & python etc. is preferred
Knowledge of Power BI deployment pipelines
