Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage production plans and schedules
- Ensure alignment with sales forecasts and customer demand
2. Material Requirements Planning (MRP):
- Run MRP to determine material requirements
- Manage material availability and lead times
3. Capacity Planning:
- Analyze production capacity and optimize resource allocation
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
4. Inventory Control:
- Manage inventory levels and optimize storage
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting
5. Supply Chain Coordination:
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehousing teams
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze production data and performance metrics
- Generate reports for management and stakeholders
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvements
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
8. Team Collaboration:
- Work with production, quality, and maintenance teams
- Ensure effective communication and coordination
