Job description

• Sample collection.
• Perform test on patient samples as per standard operating procedures.
• Verify the test results & test reports before putting for finalization by authorized signatory.
• Operate instrument and technique they are trained & authorized for as per instruction & standard operating procedures.
• Enter the test result in the lab information system (LIS).
• Properly handle and label all specimens, ensuring accurate identification and tracking throughout the testing process.
• Prepare slides and perform staining techniques for microscopic examination under the guidance of pathologists.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, summarizing laboratory findings and contributing to the overall diagnostic process.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical problems, and implement process improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and participate in relevant training and professional development activities.
