Job Description: Outdoor Sales Executive - Female

Role Overview:The Outdoor Sales Executive - Female will be responsible for driving sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and promoting Jotun products in the field. This role requires proactive engagement with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to grow the market presence in Kalpetta, Wayanad.
Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:
- Visit potential customers, including builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners, to promote and sell Jotun products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with customers to secure profitable deals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and promoting repeat business.
- Provide product demonstrations and detailed information about product features and benefits.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their preferences and requirements.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance to the Sales Manager.
Product Promotion and Brand Awareness:
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, events, and exhibitions to increase brand visibility.
- Distribute marketing materials, brochures, and samples to potential customers.
- Educate customers on the latest product developments, promotions, and offers.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the internal sales and marketing teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.
- Share insights and feedback from the field with the team to improve product offerings and sales approaches.
- Assist in training new sales staff and sharing best practices.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market research.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
- Ensure all sales documentation, including contracts and invoices, is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a sales role, preferably in the paint, construction, or related industries.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Knowledge of the local market in Wayanad is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
