About part time job/internship
Position Overview: This internship presents an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing a large-scale, citywide event promoting sustainability and eco-conscious living.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in Coordination: Work closely with the event project manager and city coordinators to assist in the overall coordination of the Earth Day Ride & Festival in four cities
2. Logistics Support: Support the logistics team in coordinating transportation, infrastructure setup, and dismantling for the parade and festival
3. Volunteer Management: Assist the HR Coordinator in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. Help ensure a smooth onboarding process
4. Marketing Assistance: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the event on social media platforms, assist in content creation, and engage with the online community
5. Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the documentation and reporting efforts, including preparing reports on volunteer activities, participant engagement, and event feedback
6. Support Workshop Organization: Assist in organizing educational workshops and seminars by liaising with speakers, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics
7. Community Engagement: Engage with local communities and stakeholders to promote participation and awareness of the event
8. General Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support as needed, including data entry email correspondence, and phone communications
Duration: This internship is a 3-month commitment, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
