Drishti Eye Institute jobs - Lasik Counselor

This is a full-time on-site role as a Lasik Counselor at Drishti Eye Institute in Dehradun. The Lasik Counselor will be responsible for providing information and guidance to patients considering Lasik surgery, assisting in pre-operative and post-operative care, and ensuring patient satisfaction throughout the process.

·         Provide counselling services to patients and their families

·         Help patients and their families understand their diagnosis and treatment options

·         Provide emotional support to patients and their families

·         Provide guidance on how to cope with their condition

·         Maintain patients’ records

·         Work independently and as part of a team

·         To counsel the patient for surgery

·         Coordinating with OT team

·         To prepare the pre-operative instruction hand over to the patient

Qualifications

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Knowledge of Lasik surgery procedures and eye care

·         Experience in patient counselings and education

·         Ability to work effectively in a team environment

·         Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

·         Previous experience in ophthalmology or healthcare industry is a plus
