Job Summary:
The Laptop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops and related equipment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, replacing parts, and ensuring devices are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and fix hardware and software problems, including motherboard, CPU, RAM, and storage issues.
2. Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve complex technical issues.
3. Component Replacement: Replace faulty parts, such as screens, keyboards, and batteries.
4. Software Installation and Configuration: Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and applications.
5. Data Recovery: Recover data from damaged or corrupted devices.
6. Quality Control: Test and verify repaired devices to ensure proper functionality.
7. Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers.
8. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, and maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
- 1-2 years of experience in laptop repair and maintenance
- Strong understanding of laptop hardware and software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools and software
