Chemistry Hons. or Pass graduate from any recognize University . Mainly job role is associated with day to day maintain of chemical consumption of different water tanks , responsible for carry on daily measurement of PH level of water and also for conductivity checking . Records need to be maintain on computers .
Monitoring and Testing:- Perform routine tests on various substrates, coatings, and chemicals used in the powder coating process.
- Test and monitor the performance of the 9-tank pre-treatment system (cleaning, phosphating, rinsing, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and adherence to operational standards.
- Assess the quality of powder coating through testing methods like adhesion, hardness, corrosion resistance, and gloss level.
2.Process Control:
- Maintain records of chemical solutions used in the pre-treatment tanks, ensuring proper chemical concentrations and pH levels.
- Collect samples from the pre-treatment tanks for analysis, checking for contaminants, and ensuring consistency in the tank solutions.
- Monitor the temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors that might affect coating quality.
3.Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Identify and report any deviations or issues in the powder coating process, such as defects in coatings, discoloration, or uneven finish.
- Assist in diagnosing and solving process-related issues within the 9-tank pre-treatment and powder coating systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
4.Quality Control:
- Inspect and analyze finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Perform quality assurance testing on coated samples (e.g., salt spray tests, impact resistance, adhesion).
- Assist in maintaining the ISO certification or other relevant quality standards for the facility.
5.Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of testing, analysis, and daily production.
- Ensure all laboratory reports are documented and kept up-to-date for internal and external audits.
- Prepare reports on any non-compliance or issues observed in testing or production processes.
6.Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including those related to chemical handling, storage, and disposal.
- Ensure the laboratory area is kept clean and organized, and that all equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations regarding the use and disposal of chemicals.
7.Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to processes and equipment to increase efficiency, product quality, and reduce defects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies related to powder coating and testing procedures.
