Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented L3-Chapter Leader - Charge Entry with expertise in charge entry processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing charge data, ensuring proper billing practices, and maintaining the integrity of patient and insurance information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Charge Entry: Accurately enter and process charge information into the billing system, ensuring all charges are recorded correctly.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of charge data by reviewing patient records, insurance information, and medical documentation.
  • Billing Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant medical billing regulations, payer guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Insurance Claims: Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile charge entries with patient accounts and resolve discrepancies or errors promptly.
  • Communication: Liaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing questions and issues.
  • Reporting: Generate and review reports related to charge entry and billing activities, identifying and addressing any issues as needed.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all charge entries and billing activities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Should have 2-3 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in charge entry process

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new practice management system
    Detailed Orientation

  • Good Process knowledge

  • Team managing skill

  • Excellent Typing Skills

  • Mathematical skills.
